In Gold Hotel & Spa

The top floor/4th level rooms with available adjoining rooms and large terrace was an excellent space for a family of 3-5. The hotel staff was kind, knowledgeable & the facilities were wonderful. We swam almost everyday in the separately located solarium pool with adjacent lounge inluding chairs & seating area, bathrooms, showers & changing room including lockers. The rooftop terrace above the pool for taking in a view of the City of Agueda was an exceptional introduction to our stay. Gabrielle, Daniella, Luis & all staff made our staff very special. Breakfast and lunch were delicious. We should have taken better advantage of the full menu & lounge bar, but be aware the lounge is very cozy & the bar is charming with a wonderful selection of food & beverages

The room was fantastic! Value for money, most definitely! The staff were the kindest, despite all of Portugal having kind people everywhere, the staff here took extra care of every guest ! We wished to stay longer however we had to continue onwards! The location is fantastic and super close to the main city attractions such as the umbrella sky project, the art installations around the city and other amenities such as a superb supermarket right around the corner ! They even offer taxi services to beautiful lagoons 30 mins from the hotel! All in all, we were thoroughly satisfied, and won't hesitate to return back!

Clean bedroom with possibility of having our 8-year old son in the same space. Comfortable bed and modern shower. Pet-friendly and with parking garage.

An incredibly beautiful pool we were grateful to be able to enjoy with views out over the city (swimcap required, must book a time to use, added facilities have an extra cost). Good food (and lots of it!) at the onsite restaurant. A good pace to stay on the Camino - just a little further to walk than other hotels in town (within a few hundred metres).
